The base where the antler connects to the pedicle is called the burr. This elaborate base of the antler is the densest part and is filled with many essential vitamins and minerals that will enrich your dog’s smile providing needed stimulation to the gums and aiding in plaque removal and keep them busy chewing for hours. Elk Burrs are made fro the cut burr from the base of the Elk antler plus a couple inches of the antler.
